With the withdrawal of vehicle ferry vessel MVF Kadamtala from the above route, services of only two vehicle ferry vessels would be available for transshipment of passengers and vehicles in between Middle Strait and Baratang, which may cause some inconvenience to the commuters, which is deeply regretted.
All commuters are therefore requested to kindly cooperate and plan their journey accordingly. Nevertheless, best efforts are being put in by this Directorate to repair the vessel expeditiously so that the services of MVF Kadamtala can be resumed in the above route at the earliest.
